Founded by Rick Born and Mike Reinhart in 2006, RBA Consulting is the progeny of BORN Information Services, which Rick Born started in 1990. With $140 million in revenue and over 1,000 employees, BORN was one of the most successful and fastest growing information technology consulting firms nationwide before being sold to a private equity firm in 2004.
This sale allowed Rick to step back and take stock of the evolving technology marketplace, including how Microsoft was positioning itself for the future. He teamed with Mike Reinhart, formerly BORN’s General Manager of the Microsoft National Practice and Texas Region, in 2006 to form RBA Consulting, now one of the fastest growing Microsoft-focused IT consulting organizations in the Twin Cities, Denver and Dallas markets. It seems history does repeat itself.
