As we grow, we're looking for developers who share our passions.  We need developers who enjoy delivering solid solutions while expanding their knowledge by taking advantage of the rapidly expanding technologies in the Microsoft space.  

The successful candidate should be a problem solver with broad development skills, and strong web application development background leveraging Microsoft .Net technologies to implement enterprise systems.  Deep knowledge of SharePoint 2007, SharePoint development experience, and a strong understanding of the .Net Framework and ASP.Net  using C# is essential. 

The candidate will be required to provide architectural guidance and develop robust application architecture solutions that implement best practices for SharePoint development.  The candidate must be a self-starter who requires minimal supervision and oversight. 

Required Technical Skills /

Deep experience delivering SharePoint solutions is required.

•    3+ years of SharePoint or WSS architecture and development experience
•    1+ year of MOSS 2007 or WSS 3.0 development experience, MOSS experience preferred
•    Experience with planning, installing and configuring medium web farm topologies
  •    Thorough knowledge of SharePoint out-of-the-box features with WSS 3.0 and MOSS 2007
  •    Expert level knowledge in the administration, configuration and customization of SharePoint 2007
  •    Configuring, and maintaining Shared Service Providers
  •    Optimizing SharePoint Search configuration, including search scopes and best bets
  •    Planning, configuring and testing SharePoint and SQL Server backup/recovery operations
  •    Applying patches, service packs, and infrastructure updates
  •    Strong knowledge of meta-data architecture and content types
  •    Deep experience with Microsoft Office (2003 /2007) integration points with SharePoint 2007
  •    Ability to troubleshoot Windows Server and IIS environments, specifically in regards to SharePoint 2007

•    Broad exposure to .Net framework, ASP.Net and other related technologies
  •    Strong .Net development background, with extensive knowledge of SharePoint API's
  •    Experience creating full-featured SharePoint solutions, including custom features and solution packages
  •    Experience developing custom web parts, ASP.Net custom controls, and ASP.Net user controls
  •    SharePoint 2007 branding experience, customizing UI's using SharePoint Designer and custom solutions
  •    Experience developing workflows with SharePoint designer and Visual Studio
  •    InfoPath 2007 forms development experience (Forms Services, DIP, workflow, etc.)

•    Deep knowledge of web development on the ASP.Net platform, to include ASP.Net 2.0
  •    Working knowledge of .Net development using XML, web services, and SOA architecture concepts
  •    Working knowledge of JavaScript.  AJAX, JSON, JQuery experience preferred.
  •    Extensive knowledge of C# is required. Visual Basic.Net experience also helpful.

• Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL Server, Oracle experience also helpful
  • Deep experience writing efficient stored procedures, views and triggers, and user defined functions
  • Light database design skills a must, deeper design skills a plus

ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL SKILLS /

The candidate should have some in one or more of these areas, with strong desire to gain exposure in additional competencies.  Development experience in any of these areas is a plus.

• Advanced BDC experience connecting LOB applications to SharePoint (+ third-party BDC builder tool sets)
• Advance Excel Services experience
• Experience with implementing and troubleshooting Kerberos configurations
• Experience with BI products and integration, including Performance Point
• Rights management implementation experience
• Data warehouse development experience using OLAP / SQL Server Analysis Services or other tools
• SQL Server Reporting Services implementation experience
• Project Server 2007 implementation experience
• Office application development experience using VSTO, VSTA
• Experience with 3^rd party SharePoint tools and product suites
• Microsoft ISA Gateway and SharePoint extranet implementation experience
• Experience with Microsoft Forefront Security for SharePoint
• Deploying Microsoft Data Protection Manager for SharePoint or other 3^rd party backup solutions
• Workflow experience with other BPM or workflow products (K2, Global 360, Lombardi, Windows WF, etc.)
• Exposure to competitive portal and ECM products (Plumtree, WebSphere, Oracle Beehive, Documentum, FileNet, etc.)
• Experience writing PowerShell or batch SharePoint configuration scripts (PowerShell prefered)
• Experience with .Net 3.0, including Workflow, WCF, WPF or LINQ
• Experience developing thick client applications using WinForms or WPF
• Web application development experience with AJAX, JSON, JQuery or Silverlight
• Web development experience using the ASP.Net MVC framework
• Experience with Microsoft Application Blocks, enterprise library, etc.
• BizTalk architecture or development experience

COMMUNICATION SKILLS /

The candidate will frequently work directly with business users and IT leadership.  Strong communication skills are essential for this position.

• Excellent communication skills are essential, with strong verbal and writing proficiencies
• Ability to clearly communicate with customers, clients, and users at all levels
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills are required to handle diverse situations and changing priorities
• Ability to create clear documentation, to include requirements, technical specifications, and training materials
• Provide accurate estimates for projects and communicate them to project stakeholders
• Experience conducting training classes and/or presenting is a plus
