RBA Consulting is a growing consulting firm.  We're passionate about using the latest technologies to provide creative IT solutions for our customers. As we grow, we're looking for developers who share our passions.  We need developers who enjoy delivering solid solutions while expanding their knowledge by taking advantage of the rapidly expanding technologies in the Microsoft space. 

The successful candidate should be an energetic self-motivated employee who wants to be part of a growing team. This person must have a minimum of 4 years experience.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS /

• SSIS, SSAS, SSRS design and Implementation experience
• Must be experienced and confident in using advanced Transact SQL in creating and updating custom queries, stored procedures, tables and functions.
• Demonstrated ability to create normalized database designs using normalized database design theory.
• Must have experience performance tuning database servers, including Transact SQL optimization, best practices for disk striping levels, memory and processor configuration,etc.
• Experience with Microsoft High Availability technologies, including Failover Clustering, Database Mirroring, Log Shipping and Replication.
• Documentation of database designs, relationships, and objects.
• Good analytical and problem solving skills.
• Responsible for transactional database design.
• Self starter, comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
• Past experience in analyzing production systems databases through reverse engineering techniques.
• Solid basic understanding of Excel, Access, and Pivot Tables.
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced multiple server environments.
• Must be able to communicate with non-technical users as well as business executives.
• Must be able to manage multiple requests at the same time.

ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL SKILLS /

• Data Modeling tools like Erwin or ERStudio
• Data Warehousing design theory by Ralph Kimball or Bill Inmon.
• Expertise with OLAP cubes and MDX
• Experience Loading Slowly Changing Dimensions into a Kimball STAR schema.
• Experience with any or all of the following:  SSRS Matrix control with OLAP, Proclarity, PerformancePoint, Informatica or Business Objects.
• Ability to provide task estimates to meet technical requirements
• Ability to perform customer presentations about Microsoft Database Technologies.

• Excellent communication skills are essential, with strong verbal and writing proficiencies
• Ability to clearly communicate with customers, clients, and users at all levels
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills are required to handle diverse situations and changing priorities
• Ability to create clear documentation, to include requirements, technical specifications, and training materials
•  Experience conducting training classes and/or presenting is a plus
