I’m looking forward to presenting on Wednesday, December 9, 2015, at 3:30pm with RBA Solution Lead, Nate Tyler, on Rapid Application Development concepts at the Government IT Symposium in St. Paul, Minnesota. We plan to outline many core concepts about how to do it reliably and rapidly, and even build one in real time in front of the group that will have desktop, web, and mobile versions!

We’ll be building out a prototype app for social workers to collect data about events tied to their clients/patients.  This app will relate the details of the event back to the client record, give process guidance for how to move through the data collection process most effectively, categorize the event as needed for reporting and dynamically show and hide sections of the app based on business rules and the situation at hand.

Additionally, the app will automatically create follow-up activities with a deadline for the proper resource if desired, integrate with Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, OneNote, OneDrive, and Delve, and be fully operational across Internet Explorer, Edge, Chrome, Firefox, and Safari, as well as being available as a native app on iPad, Android Tablet, and Windows 8/10 tablet, iPhone, Android Phone, and Windows phone.  The app will have a security layer and provide personalized user experiences for two different roles in the company. Not impressed yet? Well, I’ll build the whole thing not knowing a line of code in under 40 minutes.

Intrigued? Come learn more on Wednesday at our session on Rapid Application Development – I’d love to explore similar concepts with anyone interested.
