Senior Business Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join RBA. This is a client-facing role for someone who enjoys solving business challenges, facilitating collaboration between business and technical teams, and helping organizations deliver successful digital transformation initiatives.

In this role, you’ll work closely with client stakeholders, product owners, architects, designers, and software engineering teams to understand business objectives, define solution requirements, improve business processes, and ensure technology solutions deliver measurable business value.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with client stakeholders to understand business objectives, challenges, and opportunities for improvement
• Facilitate discovery sessions, workshops, and stakeholder interviews to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
• Develop user stories, use cases, process flows, acceptance criteria, and other project documentation that supports successful solution delivery
• Collaborate with architects, designers, and development teams to ensure proposed solutions align with business goals and technical requirements
• Analyze current-state business processes and recommend improvements that increase efficiency, usability, and operational effectiveness
• Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Assist with solution estimation, roadmap planning, and project delivery activities
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT), quality assurance efforts, and validation of business requirements
• Develop process documentation, training materials, and knowledge transfer documentation for client teams
• Contribute to project coordination activities and support successful delivery across multiple client engagements
• Stay current on emerging technologies, digital trends, AI capabilities, and business analysis best practices to help clients identify new opportunities

What You Bring

• 4+ years of experience in business analysis, product analysis, systems analysis, or a related consulting role
• Experience gathering, documenting, and managing business and functional requirements for software or digital transformation initiatives
• Strong experience writing user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, and process documentation
• Experience working within Agile software development environments, with familiarity across Scrum, Kanban, or Waterfall methodologies
• Experience using work management and collaboration tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar platforms
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into actionable technical requirements
• Experience facilitating workshops, stakeholder meetings, and cross-functional collaboration
• Understanding of business process analysis, process improvement, and organizational change initiatives
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting client engagements in a fast-paced consulting environment

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting enterprise digital transformation, customer experience, or business modernization initiatives
• Familiarity with UX research, journey mapping, wireframing, or design thinking methodologies
• Experience with process modeling tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or Miro
• Experience working with AI-enabled business processes, intelligent automation, or data-driven decision-making initiatives
• Experience supporting cloud, software engineering, or data platform projects
• CBAP, PMI-PBA, Scrum, SAFe, or other relevant business analysis certifications
• Experience working within regulated industries such as healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, or insurance
